C160背压式汽轮机是单级背压式汽轮机，有一个复速级叶轮，叶轮节圆直径为1600毫米，调速系统可采用日本光荣电子调速，也可采用woodward公司的TG17或TG13型机械调速器，主轴转速为1000-1500转/分。该机型主要特点就是利用低温低压的蒸汽作为汽源拖动旋转机械做功实现能源的梯级利用以达到节能降耗的目的。

C160 backpressure turbine is single stage backpressure turbine. Its rotor uses a velocity-compounded stage impeller. Nozzle pitch diameter is 1600mm. Its speed regulating system can use KOEL electronic speed govering, and also can use woodward TG17 or TG13 mechanical governor.Its speed of main shaft is 1000-1500r/min. The main features of models is the use of low-temperature, low-pressure,low-differential pressure steam as steam source dragging turbo-dynamo doing work to realize the energy conservation.
